Mr. Marchessault is the Managing Director of Security Marc LLC, and along with his associates and industry contacts he can provide many services to Owners, Operators and the Investment Community.
With over twenty years of security industry experience and extensive financial and operational knowledge of monitored residential and commercial burglar, fire, and home automation businesses. Well versed in a number of industry systems including Sedona Office, WeSuite, Manitou / Bold, and has exposure to Dice, ABM, Mastermind and QuickBooks.
He has an undergraduate degree in accounting from Northeastern University, and an MBA, also from Northeastern University. He was a Massachusetts CPA (License #23191), which he let expire in 2012 since it was unnecessary for his role as General Manager or his current practice.
Experience from various senior level management positions including; Vice President / General Manager for Alarm New England. General Manager for Intercity Alarms prior to its’ sale to Alarm New England. President of Willowdale Associates, an industry consulting firm. Director New Business Development / Manager Acquisitions for Tyco International and ADT. General Manager for Alarmguard, and entered the industry in 1993 as Vice President Finance for Security Systems, Inc.
Has been with businesses that were acquired; Sentry Protective Systems (the electronic security division of Security Systems, Inc.), Alarmguard, and Intercity Alarms, and has performed due diligence reviews, acquired, and /or integrated over 100 companies.
During his tenure at Tyco / ADT he was involved in the Cambridge Protection Industries /Security Link acquisition, a one billion dollar deal. Was the lead on the Edison Security acquisition, and a key participant in the Smith Alarm Systems, Digital Detection Systems Holdings, and several smaller deals. More recently he was involved in the HB Alarm and Statewide Alarms acquisitions and integrations by Alarm New England.
At Security Marc, Mr. Marchessault has continued to provide financial consulting services for the electronic security industry, been engaged as an expert witness, and added some PERS clients. Worked performed for PERS clients include financial planning and review, preparation of business plans, and due diligence review and investment analysis on potential acquisitions.
